BlackHawk Hell Cat 360 Paraengine Limited Warranty:

Each and every item that makes up a BlackHawk Powered Paraglider is fully Warranted 100% for two years to the original purchaser from the date of original purchase of any factory defects.

The BlackHawk HellCat 360 engines are warranted for 6 months from date of purchase from any manufacture defects.

The following items are included in this warranty: cage, couplers, rods, frame, gas tank, harness, carabineers, throttle, engine mounts and engine mount plates. This warranty excludes any and all items that are damaged by the Pilot in launching, landing, flying or transporting or misuse of said BlackHawk Powered Paraglider.

Not included under our warranty are any type of engine seizures caused by improper carburetor tuning, adjustment or failure to properly follow the manufacturers maintenance instructions.

HellCat-360 with Orange 36m2 ParaToys-II Glider (130 kg to 215kg).

In December 2010 we introduced the first production, made for Aviation, Four Stroke engine for a Powered Paraglider (PPG). Since then we have introduced several improvements inc. a new deeper, safer and larger XXLT Rhino cage to better accommodate the deeper HellCat 360cc engine!

The complete HellCat Package Deal comes with a XXLT Rhino Frame & Cage, Solo LowBoy-II Quad, ParaToys-II Glider, Auxiliary Quad Fuel Tank & Bracket, 2 blade 137cm Wooden Propeller, Cage Line guides, Quad "A" Assists line guides and Aluminium Billet Hang  Points. Price includes a 1 year warranty and all the accessories provided in our packages!

The engine was named after the Gruman Hell Cat airplane that battled the Japanese Zero in the Pacific during World War II. The Gruman HellCat was known for its immense power, agility and extreme durability.

The BlackHawk HellCat has proven itself worthy of it's name! Thorough testing has proven this engine to be what we'd all expect of a Four Stroke! Powerful, extremely durable, quiet, fantastic fuel mileage and in our case ...Light weight! 360cc engine with Twin cylinders, Four valve heads, Water cooling and Oil cooling!

This  engine only weighs 31.5kg (69.5 lbs) including the Oil & Water radiators, complete re-drive assembly, exhaust and 24 volt Ni-Cad battery! That is 30kg (70lbs) less than a complete Generator based engine.

Power is 35 HP at 7'800 rpm makes this engine the most powerful of our PPG range, Thrust tests thus far has put out 100kg (220lb) with our 137cm (54") 2 blade Wooden one piece propeller, that is 9kg more thrust than either the 2 or 3 blade Carbon Fiber Power Fin propellers, for that reason this engine now comes standard with our 137cm, 2 blade one piece wooden propeller.

Simply put our 137cm timber prop is quieter than the 2 Blade fixed pitch Power Fin Prop and the ground adjustable 3 Blade Carbon Fiber Power Fin prop, however we can still supply either of these Powerfin props as optional if required, all they do is look a little better.
